For those times when a homemade gift is the way to go.
If you want to avoid some of the hustle and bustle of the holiday shopping season while still giving your loved ones some great gifts this year, Arm & Hammer released a Holiday Gift Guide full of crafts that families can create using baking soda and other ingredients.
The Holiday Gift Guide is split into multiple sections, based on the intended recipient. For instance, the “Big Dreamers” category features gifts for kids. It has a recipe for Snowman Cake Pops, as well as instructions for making “Holiday Fluffy Slime” (this craft requires items like baking soda, shaving cream, and contact lens solution).
Other sections feature gift ideas for nurses, mail carriers, parents, and so on, but, of course, you can give these items to anyone. Overall, the gift guide features 51 pages of instructions and images that can help your family create home decor, edible treats, and more.
Arm & Hammer is encouraging families to share their creations on social media using the hashtag #SayItWithBakingSoda. For each gift shared to social media with this hashtag, Arm & Hammer will donate $1 to the children’s charity organization One Simple Wish (up to $25,000).
