The game now offers a new subscription plan.
A major update has been released for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on mobile devices, bringing the game to Version 5.0.
With this update, players can now invite up to 16 animals to visit their campsite at the same time. Previously, the limit was eight.
In addition, this update allows players to add an Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp widget to their device’s home screen. The widget features a small calendar showing the current date and day of the week, a picture of one of the game’s animal friends, and a short message. This widget will change in appearance throughout the day. Players can tap the widget to open the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp application.
Next, this update added a new feature to the game called the Pocket Planner, which contains a schedule of current and upcoming events, item release dates, and more.

This update also added a new premium (and optional) subscription plan to the game called the Merry Memories plan, which allows players to unlock additional features for the Pocket Planner. This subscription costs $0.99 per month, and subscribers will receive 20 Leaf Tickets each month at no additional cost.
Subscribers to the Merry Memories plan can purchase new visual designs for their planner, as well as stickers they can use to decorate their planner. When players sign up for the Merry Memories plan, they’ll receive one design for their planner for free.
In addition, subscribers can link their device’s pedometer data to the game to track their steps in the Pocket Planner. If players take lots of steps, animals may send them a message in the game.
Finally, subscribers to the Merry Memories plan will receive extra in-game rewards during seasonal events.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is available to download for free on iOS and Android devices. The game is rated 4+ on iOS and E for Everyone on Android. You can learn more about Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp in our previous coverage.
