Celebrate Valentine's Day by giving a gift to one of your animal friends.
For Valentine’s Day, every Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp player has received a free Heartfelt Present that they can give to a single animal at their campsite or cabin. When you give this Heartfelt Present to an animal, you’ll be shown a short cutscene, and you’ll even receive a free decoration in return: a bouquet of heart balloons.
Keep in mind, this Heartfelt Present will only be available to give away for a limited time. If you don’t give the Heartfelt Present to an animal before 12:59 a.m. on February 15, the item will be removed from your inventory and you won’t be able to give it away.
To give your Heartfelt Present to an animal, tap on one of the animals that are currently visiting your campsite or cabin (you can invite a different animal to one of these locations if the one you want to give the present to isn’t currently there).
The game will ask you if you want to give the Heartfelt Present to that animal. Tap “Give Present!”, and then tap “Yes!” on the two confirmation windows that appear to give the present to the animal you’ve selected.
After that, you’ll be shown a cute cutscene where you give the animal the present and they give you the bouquet of heart balloons.
You can find this decorative item in your inventory, and if you put it out on display, you can interact with it to read a letter from the animal friend that gave it to you. As one final note, the heart balloons you receive will come in one of three colors (red, yellow, or blue), with the color being determined by the animal’s personality.
