Maple Leaves are now falling through the sky on islands in the Northern Hemisphere in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
According to Animal Crossing World, Maple Leaves will be available to collect on islands in the Northern Hemisphere from November 16 to November 26, and on islands in the Southern Hemisphere from May 16 to May 26.
Similar to Cherry Blossom Petals, Maple Leaves will appear in the air around your island, and you can use your net to “catch” them, just like you’d catch a bug. However, keep in mind that you can only catch large Maple Leaves that appear in the air. That is, as you play the game during this time, you’ll also see lots of smaller leaves on your island, but these can’t be caught.

You can use Maple Leaves to create a variety of Maple Leaf-themed DIY crafting recipes. For instance, Isabelle will give you your first Maple Leaf recipe for free: the Red-Leaf Pile. Check out the full list of Maple Leaf-themed recipes right here.
