Two new items are available for a limited time.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival (observed in East Asia) and the Dano Festival (observed in South Korea) with two new items that are available to purchase in the Nook Shopping catalog for a limited time.
The Festival Zongzi represents the Dragon Boat Festival, while the Surichwi Tteok represents the Dano Festival. These items are available to purchase from the “Seasonal” items tab in the Nook Shopping catalog for 1,000 Bells each.
Remember, you can purchase these items for yourself, as well as send them as gifts to in-game friends. If you purchase one of these items for yourself, it won’t appear in your mailbox until the next day. However, if you send one of these items to a friend, it will be sent instantly.
The Festival Zongzi and Surichwi Tteok items will be available to purchase until June 14, 2021.
These aren’t the only new items that have been added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons recently. The Wedding Season event kicked off on June 1, giving players the chance to collect new Nuptial-themed items for their islands.
