Collect eggs and craft new items for a limited time!
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players travel to a deserted island, where they can create a new life for themselves by building a home, doing some gardening, and making friends with lots of talking animals (among many other activities).
The game features a real-time day and night cycle, which allows days, months, and years to progress in the game in real time. Throughout the year, limited time events will be held that give players extra activities to look forward to.
The game’s first event will be Bunny Day, and it will take place from April 1 to April 12. The event will bring Zipper T. Bunny to your island, who will hide colorful eggs (think Easter eggs) all over the island for you to find. For instance, you may be able to dig eggs out of the ground, or even fish them out of the water.
As you collect these eggs, you’ll be able to use them to craft a variety of adorable furniture, decoration, and even clothing items in the Egg series.
Then, later in April, a second event will launch, focused on Earth Day. While we don’t know any real details about this Earth Day event, a recent Nintendo Direct video presentation (embedded above) did hint at an appearance from Leif, the sloth who loves plants and gardening.
Keep checking back with SuperParent, as we’ll make sure to bring you more details about the Bunny Day and Earth Day events as we learn more.
