Just follow these steps!
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can change your island’s flag to match the look you want for your island. For instance, you may want to change it to match the current season or holiday, or change it to match a specific “theme” you may have for your island.
When you change your island’s flag, you can choose to use a design the game has given you, a design you’ve created yourself, or a design you’ve imported using a QR code.
Once you know the design you want to use, follow these steps to change your island’s flag!
Head into the Resident Services building and sit at Isabelle’s station (the one on the right).
Talk to Isabelle and select “Change the island flag.”
A screen will appear that shows you all of the Custom Designs you have saved in your game. Highlight the design you want to use, and press “A” to select it.
Isabelle will comment on your choice, and the flag will be changed! You can view your new flag outside the Resident Services building and outside of your island’s airport.
