Help Reese and Cyrus take beautiful anniversary photos.
A wedding-themed event is coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in June 2020.
The Wedding Season event will be held from June 1 to June 30. During this time, players will be able to visit Harvey’s island, where they can meet Reese and Cyrus, a married pair of alpacas who are looking to celebrate their anniversary by taking some photos.
Reese and Cyrus may be familiar faces to long-time Animal Crossing fans. For one, they ran the Re-Tail store in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and they’re also featured in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on mobile devices.
In a recent trailer that shows off the game’s upcoming events (embedded above), we can see a preview of how this photo session will work. Players will first be able to arrange the furniture in the photography space, and then take photos of the happy couple.
According to a Nintendo press release, players will receive “wedding-themed items” as a reward for taking pictures of Reese and Cyrus during this event. We’ll make sure to let you know what those items are as we learn more.
