There are two ways to easily collect this pocket monster.
Eevee is one of the most unique Pokemon in Pokemon Go, since it can be evolved into eight different pocket monsters: Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Sylveon. Players will need to complete specific tasks in order to collect some of these Pokemon.
Here’s everything you need to know about evolving Eevee into Glaceon, its Ice-type evolution!
You can evolve Eevee into Glaceon in multiple ways. As reported by Eurogamer, the easiest way to evolve Eevee into Glaceon is to simply rename Eevee to “Rea” before evolving it. However, this naming trick will only work once (that is, it can only be used to evolve a single Eevee into Glaceon).
After that, if you want to evolve another Eevee into Glaceon, you can use a special Lure Module.
In 2019, three new Lure Modules were added to Pokemon Go (the Glacial, Mossy, and Magnetic Lure Modules). These premium items can be placed on PokeStops to attract specific kinds of Pokemon to those locations for a limited time. Plus, when you’re close enough to a PokeStop with one of these active Lure Modules, you can evolve certain Pokemon.
In order to evolve Eevee into Glaceon, you’ll need to make sure you’re next to a PokeStop with an active Glacial Lure Module. You can either activate a Glacial Lure Module on a PokeStop yourself, or use a Glacial Lure Module that has been activated by another player.
You’ll know a PokeStop has an active Glacial Lure Module if you see animated snowflakes appearing around the PokeStop on the in-game map (check out the screenshot below).
When you’re near one of these PokeStops, you’ll want to make sure the game has properly registered your current location before evolving Eevee. You can make 100 percent sure that you’re within range by simply looking at the evolve button when viewing Eevee’s page.
When you’re not within range of one of these PokeStops, the evolve button will have a question mark, indicating that you won’t know which Pokemon you’ll receive if you evolve Eevee right then and there. However, when you’re close to a PokeStop with an active Glacial Lure Module, the evolve button will have a picture of Glaceon (you can see what we mean in the screenshots below).
Once you see Glaceon on the evolve button, you’re safe to evolve Eevee, and you’ll receive Glaceon when the evolution is complete!
