This baby Pokemon can evolve into one of three pocket monsters.
Tyrogue is one of the more interesting pocket monsters in Pokemon Go, since it has an evolutionary system that allows it to evolve into one of three different Pokemon: Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, and Hitmontop.
According to Eurogamer, Tyrogue’s evolution is based entirely on the Pokemon’s attack, defense, and HP stats. Specifically, the pocket monster Tyrogue will evolve into is determined by which of these three stats is the highest.
You can check Tyrogue’s stats by using the appraisal feature in Pokemon Go. This system will show you three bars representing the Pokemon’s attack, defense, and HP.
As Eurogamer reported, if Tyrogue’s attack stat is higher than its defense and HP stats, then it will evolve into Hitmonlee. If its defense stat is the highest, it will evolve into Hitmonchan, and if its HP stat is the highest of the three, it will evolve into Hitmontop.
According to Eurogamer, if there’s a tie between any of Tyrogue’s stats, then Tyrogue’s evolution will be determined at random. For example, if its attack and HP stats are the same, Tyrogue will randomly evolve into either Hitmonlee or Hitmontop.
When you’re ready to evolve Tyrogue, just go to the Pokemon’s page and tap the evolve button as normal. Tyrogue can be evolved using 25 Tyrogue Candy.
And that’s all there is to it! If you want to add all three of Tyrogue’s evolutions to your Pokedex in Pokemon Go, make sure to check the stats on every Tyrogue you encounter. With time, you should be able to find three Tyrogue with the right stats to collect all three evolutions (and remember that you can trade for these Pokemon as well).
