You can create Cocoa Powder, Mixed Herbs, and more!
In Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, players can collect a wide variety of ingredients and seasonings, and then use them to practice their cooking skills by creating an assortment of dishes and meals.
Some of the game’s recipes require special seasonings to create. There are multiple kinds of seasonings in Pioneers of Olive Town. Regular seasonings — Salt, Pepper, and Sugar — can be made using a Seasoning Maker, while “powdery seasonings” like Mixed Herbs and Cocoa Powder, can be made using the Powder Maker.
Once you unlock the Powder Maker crafting recipe, you can create one of these machines using three Silver Ingots. From there, you can insert ingredients into the Powder Maker to have them automatically turned into “powdery seasonings.” Specifically, the Powder Maker can transform Coffee Beans, Cacao, Chili Peppers, Wheat, and Herbs into different kinds of powdery seasonings.
For ingredients that aren’t herbs, it requires one ingredient to create one powdery seasoning. As an example, one Cocoa will become one Cocoa Powder.
For herbs, it takes two herbs of the same type to create Mixed Herbs, but not all herbs generate the same number of Mixed Herbs once they’re processed. For instance, two Golden Rain Rosemary will become four Mixed Herbs, while two Oregano will only become one Mixed Herbs.
The process of turning ingredients into powdery seasonings takes four in-game hours to complete. Remember, you can make more than one Powder Maker for your farm in order to create more than one powdery seasoning at the same time.
Since there are lots of different powdery seasonings available to create, it’s possible to spend quite a bit of time processing your ingredients into these items. That being the case, you may want to check out the ChargePlay Clutch from HyperX. It can extend your device’s battery life so you can play Pioneers of Olive Town (and other Switch games) for a longer period of time before having to charge your Switch.
