Collect 10 Pokemon to earn fun rewards!
The 2021 Spring event has begun in Pokemon Go! From now until April 8 at 8 p.m. local time, this event will allow trainers to collect Pokemon wearing flower crowns, complete event-themed Field Research tasks, and more. To learn more about this year’s Spring event, check out our previous coverage.
As part of this year’s Spring festivities, players can complete the Spring into Spring 2021 Collection Challenge to receive three in-game rewards.
You’ll need to collect 10 different Pokemon to complete this Collection Challenge:
While many of these Pokemon can be found in the wild, a few are found in different ways. For instance, you’ll need to find and defeat a Team Go Rocket Grunt with Shadow Exeggcute on its team in order to capture Shadow Exeggcute.
In addition, Diggersby can be collected through evolution, rather than catching. That is, in order to check Diggersby off of your list, you’ll need to evolve Bunnelby into Diggersby before the event ends.
Finally, according to The Silph Road subreddit, Azumarill isn’t appearing in the wild during this Spring event. Instead, you can encounter it in Raids and after completing the “Catch 15 Exeggcute” Field Research task.
If you can complete this entire Collection Challenge before Pokemon Go’s Spring event ends, you’ll receive one Lucky Egg, 50 Lopunny Mega Energy, and 2,500 experience points.
