Watch out for poinsettias on the in-game map!
The next Pikmin Bloom Community Day event will take place on December 18, 2021.
While the game’s first Community Day event ran from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time on November 13, 2021, December’s event won’t have a specific time limit. This means the event will be available all day on December 18.
On the Pikmin Bloom website, Niantic, the game’s creator, shared the rewards and features that will be available during this event:
- “Higher chances of Big Flowers blooming into poinsettias when you plant regular blue, red, yellow, or white petals around them
- Players achieving the 10,000 step goal on this day will be awarded a special Poinsettia Flower Badge
- Seedlings in your planter pack will grow at 1.5x the usual speed (and more, if you’re flower planting!)”
Niantic also encouraged players to ensure they have updated the Pikmin Bloom application to the lastest version before joining the December Community Day festivities. Niantic said, “In order for the Poinsettia Big Flowers to display correctly, and for the badge to be applied to your profile, please update your app to the latest version (v36) before joining Community Day.”
