Safer Internet Day is February 8.
Safer Internet Day 2022 is February 8, and to honor the occasion, Xbox released a new world for Minecraft: Education Edition that’s aimed at helping kids learn about internet safety.
The world is called CyberSafe: Home Sweet Hmm, and it was designed for children aged 7-12. It’s now available for free to all Minecraft: Education Edition players, and it will be released in the Minecraft Marketplace for the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft in March 2022.
The CyberSafe: Home Sweet Hmm world will allow kids to complete four different activities that focus on concepts such as protecting their online passwords and account information and connecting with other people online. Players will be guided through the experience by a character named “Trusted Adult.”
The CyberSafe: Home Sweet Home activity will take about one hour to complete. You can learn more about the world and download it on the Minecraft: Education Edition website.
