Players can choose to support one of three houses, which impacts the game's story.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is now available on Nintendo Switch. The hack-n-slash game features characters from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which was released on Switch in 2019.
In Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, players will become a mercenary named Shez who is on a quest to defeat The Ashen Demon. Early on in the game, players will meet Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude, who represent the three houses that control portions of the in-game world. Players will be able to choose which house to support, which will allow them to complete one of three unique storylines. (Players can play the game more than once to experience the other two stories.)
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes allows players to complete real-time battles that feature large numbers of enemies on the screen at the same time. Each playable character has different abilities and specialities, and players can switch between characters during battle as they’d like.
Players can also command their characters to move to different areas or complete specific actions during battles. Each character has different strengths and weaknesses, so players can command their characters strategically to make the most of each unit’s abilities.
As players progress, their characters will earn experience points and level up, causing them to become stronger over time. Players can also equip their characters with new weapons and items that they can collect as they play.
Finally, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes allows players to choose from multiple difficulty levels and game modes. The “Casual” game mode will cause fallen characters to be resurrected after a battle, while the “Classic” mode features “permadeath,” meaning fallen characters are permanently lost. Players can change between these difficulty and game mode settings after they begin the game.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is now available on Switch for $59.99. The game also offers a free demo that allows players to try a portion of the game for free.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is rated T for Teen by the ESRB, with Content Descriptors for “Alcohol Reference,” “Violence,” and “Mild Suggestive Themes.” The game also features occasional adult language.
