The Season of Light has begun in the free-to-play mobile game.
The Season of Light has kicked off in Pokemon Go! This Season will run from September 1, 2022 to December 1, 2022, and it will feature the Legendary Pokemon Cosmog. You can learn more about the Season of Light in our previous coverage.
During the Season of Light, players will be able to complete Special Research tasks that will become available at three times throughout the Season: September 1, 2022, October 5, 2022 and November 23, 2022.
According to Leek Duck, these Special Research tasks are called “A Cosmic Companion.”

Final Rewards: 1,000 experience points, 500 Stardust, and an encounter with Cosmog

Final Rewards: 2,000 experience points, 500 Stardust, and a Poffin

Final Rewards: 3,000 experience points, 1,000 Stardust and five Pinap Berries

Final Rewards: 3,000 experience points, 1,000 Stardust, and 25 Cosmog Candy
