Players can earn bonus experience points for a limited time.
Trainers, the next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on November 29, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Hoothoot will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon.
Hoothoot is a Normal- and Flying-type Pokemon from the second generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Hoothoot into Noctowl using 50 Hoothoot Candy.
Shiny Hoothoot is available in Pokemon Go.
To make the most of this week’s event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Hoothoot to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
In addition, if you plan on evolving lots of Pokemon during this event, you may want to consider activating a Lucky Egg, which will allow you to earn double the normal number of experience points when completing in-game actions for a limited time. The Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points for each Pokemon you evolve during this event.
