The game’s Adventure Mode will feature 200 stages to complete.
Sega revealed Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, the latest game in the Super Monkey Ball franchise, which began with the original Monkey Ball arcade game in 2001.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will allow players to roll around environments with AiAi and his friends in orbs called “monkey balls.” Players will need to watch out for obstacles as they roll, like gaps in the path. They’ll also need to carefully balance their monkey ball on platforms so they don’t fall off the sides.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will feature multiple gameplay modes, including an Adventure Mode for up to four players that will challenge players to complete 200 stages on a quest to retrieve seven special artifacts.
The game will also feature multiple online multiplayer modes for up to 16 players.
Players will be able to customize the look of their monkey ball by choosing from more than 300 items, including outfits that the monkey inside the ball can wear. The game will also feature a new “Spin Dash” move that’s a new addition to the Super Monkey Ball franchise.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will be released on Switch on June 25, 2024. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will be available in three versions, including a Legendary Banana Edition that will include the base game of Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, a slipcase, reversible cover art, an art book, and an in-game banana suit.
