Players can receive extra experience points for a limited time.
The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on February 6, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this event, Dratini will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
Dratini is a Dragon-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Dratini into Dragonair using 25 Dratini Candy and then evolve Dragonair into Dragonite using 100 Dratini Candy.
Shiny Dratini is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Dratini is pink and white, rather than blue and white.
To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Dratini to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.
You can also activate a Lucky Egg to double the number of experience points you receive when completing in-game actions for a limited time. This Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn lots of experience points for each Pokemon you capture during this event.

Keep in mind, no Spotlight Hour event will take place on February 20, 2024, because a Cresselia Raid Hour event will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time on February 20, 2024 instead.
