Explore Bluey's world with Bluey and her family.

Outright Games recently released Bluey: The Videogame on consoles and PC. Based on the Bluey children’s television series, the game allows players to go on adventures with Bluey and her family.

In Bluey: The Videogame, players can choose to play as Bluey, her sister, Bingo, Bluey’s mom, and Bluey’s dad. A single person can complete the game on their own and switch between the game’s four characters as they play. The game also supports local cooperative multiplayer for up to four players in the same room.

Bluey: The Videogame allows players to complete a series of short “episodes” that each have a different story to experience. During these episodes, players are told what to do to make progress, and a waypoint marker will appear on the screen to tell them where they need to go next.

In between episodes, players can freely explore different locations in Bluey’s world. When players start the game, they’ll only be able to explore Bluey’s home, but as they complete episodes, they’ll unlock additional locations, like the Playground.

Players can interact with a variety of items in each location. For instance, they can jump on a trampoline in Bluey’s backyard, play on a seesaw at the Playground, and more. Players will also unlock a few mini-games as they make their way through the game, like a “Keepy Uppy” mini-game that challenges them to keep a balloon in the air and prevent it from touching the ground.

Finally, players can find a variety of collectible stickers in each location. As players play mini-games and find stickers, they’ll unlock new costume items for Bluey and her family to wear. Players can change their character’s costume by interacting with costume baskets found throughout the in-game world.

Bluey: The Videogame is now available on Switch, PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles, and PC for $39.99. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.

We had the chance to play Bluey: The Videogame on PlayStation 5. Parents should know we experienced some lag as we made our way through the game, but these “pauses” in gameplay were temporary and may be fixed in a future game update.

Disclosure: SuperParent received a code for Bluey: The Videogame for coverage purposes.
