Pokemon Go November 7, 2023 Spotlight Hour: Everything You Need to Know

The next Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event will take place on November 7, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

During this event, Chinchou will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of Pokemon Candy when transferring Pokemon.

Chinchou is a Water- and Electric-type Pokemon from the second generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Chinchou into Lanturn using 50 Chinchou Candy.

Shiny Chinchou is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Chinchou is blue and green, rather than blue and yellow.

To make the most of this week’s Spotlight Hour event, remember that you can activate an Incense to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time. This will give you more Chinchou to encounter and more chances to potentially find a Shiny one.

Following this week’s Spotlight Hour event, three more of these events are scheduled to take place in November 2023. Here’s the schedule:

• November 14, 2023 – Buneary will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when evolving Pokemon.
• November 21, 2023 – Dunsparce will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokemon.
• November 28, 2023 – Lechonk will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will receive two times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
