Players will be able to build a dream house with up to 30 rooms.
Toy company Mattel and metaverse game developer Gamefam announced Barbie DreamHouse Tycoon is officially launching on Roblox later this year.
Barbie DreamHouse Tycoon will allow players to build their own Barbie DreamHouse that can have up to four floors and 30 rooms, such as a yoga studio, office, recording studio, vlogging room, movie theater, game room, and bowling alley. Players will also be able to visit other players’ DreamHouses.
Two Barbie characters – Brooklyn and Malibu – will guide players through the game.
Barbie DreamHouse Tycoon will allow players to customize their avatars by choosing from different body types, skin tones, face and makeup options, hairstyles, clothing items, and accessories. Players will also have the option to give their avatar hearing aids.
When players aren’t building their dream house, they’ll be able to explore the in-game world of Malibu in a variety of vehicles. Malibu will feature different locations to visit, like a bakery, vet’s office, fashion boutique, science center, town hall, and sports fields.
Finally, players will be able to play mini-games themed after different careers, such as chef, pop star, and fashion designer.
Barbie DreamHouse Tycoon will officially launch on Roblox on October 6, 2023. The game has an “All Ages” rating on the Roblox platform.
